As you all know India had seen a surge in covid cases again this year from March onwards. The second wave of the covid pandemic was much severe than the first, with large number of morbidity and mortality causing deficit of resources like hospital beds, oxygen supply, medicines etc. Gram Seva Trust started a 16 bed covid care hospital, keeping in mind our limited oxygen capacity and other resources. A total of 78 patients were treated in the covid care unit out of which 41 were discharged successfully.
We are thankful to our staff for standing in support and unity and going out of their way to do their duty. We are also thankful to all donors from India and abroad who generously came forward to help us in this crises.
