Volunteers

Volunteers coming to Gram Seva Trust get an opportunity to get first-hand experience of working in rural tribal community in various projects like medical camps, community health outreach projects, rural development projects like education, summer camps for children, Parodh balawas and also in research activities, computer program development, data management etc.

We welcome volunteers of all race, communities and nationalities and insist that they spend atleast 6 to 8 weeks in the organization.

Donation Schemes

Gram Seva Trust strives for Health and Development of Rural Communities, especially, its weaker sections like women, children and the elderly.

The activities of the organization depend on donations and hence there is a perennial need of donations and help. We sincerely request you to join us in these activities through your voluntary donations in cash or kind for the following:

Permanent Donations Scheme

  • Poor Patients Relief Fund.
  • Eye Care Fund.
  • Bhojnalay( Kitchen) Fund.
  • Women Empowerment Fund.
  • Children’s Welfare Fund.
  • "Parodh Balawas" Funds.
  • Anniversary Donations: these are donations on birth, death or any other anniversaries for treatment or food for the patients. The interest on the amount shall be utilised on the same day every year for the same purpose. ₹. 21000/- for this fund is accepted. The Donors name shall be displayed on a board that day.
  • One Meal for Hospital Patients- ₹. 2100/- (30 U.S.$) and for Two meals ₹. 3500/- (47 U.S.$)
  • One Meal for “Parodh” Balawas children- ₹. 2100/- (30 U.S.$) and for Two meals ₹. 3500/- (47 U.S.$)
  • Milk for one time for “Parodh” Balawas childre ₹. 500/- (6 U.S.$) and for Two time ₹. 1000/- (14 U.S.$)
  • Milk for one time for “Parodh” Balawas children ₹. 500/- (6 U.S.$) and for Two time ₹. 1000/- (14 U.S.$)
  • Simple breakfast for 100 “Parodh” Balawas children ₹. 700/- (10 U.S.$) and Special breakfast for 100 “Parodh” Balawas children ₹. 1000/- (14 U.S.$)
  • Eye Camp- An eye camp and free cataract operations of all those coming in the camp are organised on donation of ₹. 40000/- ( 800 U.S.$) and ₹. 1500/- (25 U.S.$) for one cataract operation.
  • Adopt one "Parodh Balawas" Child for educational expense: Rs.36000/year (600 U.S.$/year)

General Donation

We also need donations for hospital and Balawas equipments. Kindly contact our office for more information.We shall be happy to receive voluntary services in any of our activities like child education, skill development of youth and women, development of database, IEC materials, library, documentation etc.

Current Donation Required

The organization plans to conduct Women's Health screening and management Project in Vaghai block of Dang District for poor tribal women of Dang. We require Rs.15,00,000/- to implement this project. We request all those who are interested to support us in this project.


Donations can be sent through cheques, Demand drafts or direct transfer, in the name of Gram Seva Trust. All donations are tax exempted under 80G in India.

Donations in U.S.A, can avail tax exemption if donated to Gram Seva Foundation a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable non profit.
